Switchbored -indirect from Boston (Funky with a capital F) was formed in 2006 when Boston born singer-songwriter-guitar player Brian Hanlon (now based in Cork) joined forces with drummer percussionist Tom Fanor from Germany. Initially performing as a duo they decided they were missing some funky low-end - thus the addition of Bass player Brian Hennessy from Clonakilty. Since their first gig a year ago they have created quite a buzz around The Cork Music scene. Their unique sound incorporates elements of Pop, R&B, Funk, and reggae. 2007 sees a very busy year for the band including an extensive tour and recording of their debut album. The unique combination creates one of the most original exciting sounds around. Keep you eyes and ears open for one of the newest most exciting bands around.
