Thank you so much for your call and updating us, it just seemed like unfortunate timing! We have discussed it and we are thinking if construction is happening this weekend it seems better to host when all complete. Would you be OK if we used upstairs on Sunday 22nd of September instead? same time of 2-4pm? with lots of encouragment of cake and tea purchase. No problem at all these things again and we are just excited to be using your space this time it really suits us for swishing. The information is as follows: The big swishing movement is happening internationally to create a free sociable way to obtain a completely new wardrobe or home feel. Lets join the movement and bring it to Cork. Ethos: A clothes swapping event by the Crafty Beours to build wardrobes with simple swapping! So gather any unwanted pieces of clothing, textiles, shoes, accessories, house hold belongings and general bric and brac. Nothing is off bounds! As the saying goes one persons treasure is another persons new free wardrobe. Details: Everyone must arrive at 2pm so the Crafty Beours can arrange and organise the items and then at 2.30pm the item swapping begins. This event is completely FREE and will finish at 4pm to give people an opportunity to sift through items. With it being hosted on a Sunday parking is free in the city so the day should be relaxed and lazy! Music will be accompanying the clothes swapping so you can take your time and relax over your choices. We ask that all items are in good condition. Rules: 1. You bring any unwanted items you have cluttering your home. 2. Use the area the Crafty Beours will have set up to place or hang items. 2. Have a peek and wander to find an item of equal value 4. The Crafty Beours will help you Swap swap swap 5. Go home with new FREE items. The more that get involved the greater the choice so spread the word and post some images of your swishing materials to begin the sharing before the event.
