Lost In mexico, Rory O'Brien and artists Patrick Devally & Gary McShane are delighted to present their Art Exhibition on all of their favourite comic book Heroes & Villains, including Batman, Judge Dredd, Wonder Woman and the Penguin to name a few. With the release of The Dark Knight Rises, both artists where inspired by the series to create an exhibition surrounding the art of the comic books. " We are both huge comic book fans and for our first exhibition we wanted to choose a theme that is both commercial and exciting for us to do" Gary McShane Both Gary and Patrick choose a theme that they hope will capture the imagination of an audience and inspire a sense of adventure and wonder in its viewer. These two Irish artists both met in college in 2008, graduating with BA Honours Degrees from The West Wales School of the Arts. They have been working on this exhibition for the past year and are both very excited to finally bring it to the public. The exhibition will be held in the Roundy Bar, in Cork City, pieces are available to view upstairs and downstairs and there is also an offering of two great bands playing upstairs to accompany this exhibition. Lost In Mexico will begin the night with some funky alternative tunes followed by the musical stylings of Rory O Brien on guitar.
